Vicky Rowe

Vicky Rowe has been running Got Mead? since it was a single page of links way back in the early 1990's, and calls herself the 'Barbara Walters of the Mead Industry'. Her goal is to use Got Mead? to help the mead industry take off like the craft beer industry did. She's an avid mead enthusiast, and has worked tirelessly to help grow the mead industry, through spreading the word of mead via her website, and by helping to created the largest mead competition in the world, the Mazer Cup International.

She is also an accomplished small business consultant and coach who works with craft meaderies and wineries to help them grow their businesses, make more sales, and become as famous as they want to be in the world of craft alcoholic beverages.

She is also a proud mother whose daughter attended Virginia Tech with top marks and is an active duty Army Lt., as well as an avid black powder competition shooter (Civil War era), owner of several bobtail mountain feist dogs (look it up). She spends her time going to shooting events with her husband and the dogs, visiting with her daughter, and dressing up in funny clothes and giving living history demos of mead and cordial making.
