GotMead.com provides the opportunity for meaderies, mead equipment and materials suppliers, honey suppliers and other mead-related shops and businesses to take advantage of the 70,000+ unique visitors that come to the site every month. I strive to provide a fun, informative site to my visitors. The forums are continually active, and have over 30,000 posts. You can even post your job opportunities there for free! Advertising opportunities on GotMead are as follows: Site-wide Ad Rotation - Depending on quality of your advertising material (quality of the banner and text link) we can show between 75,000 and 90,000 visitors a month your ad, on over 1200 pages of relevant content. And, since we rank #1 or #2 for the word 'mead' in both Google and Yahoo (depending on the day), your ad on our site raises your search engine ranking. For this we charge a flat rate per 1,000 impressions (how many times your ad is shown). Even though we do not charge you for each click, but it would useful for you to know that the average cost per click rate for mead-related keywords on the pay-per-click engines is $0.69 - $1.04 per click. Google AdWords says that if you bid for a top position, it would cost you $1.04 per click, and cost you between $80 - $140 per DAY (as of April 11, 2006). You can get exposed to a *targeted audience* of mead lovers for between $10.00 and $40.00 per 1000 impressions on Gotmead! One more thing to mention. If we get more traffic - you get more traffic. We won't raise the price on you if you've got a contract with us. You won't get that from the pay-per-click engines! If you pay for listing on pay per click search engines in order to get some traffic then you really should take a look at our advertising options. You can get a lot more targeted traffic for less money. Remember, our visitors come here for one thing: to learn more about mead. Last but not least: If we do not deliver a satisfactory level of traffic to you we will run your advertisement for free for a month. If you pay for your traffic anyway why not pay less! If you don't, why not give it a try, and get people to your site? With over 1200 pages of data that grows daily, and the largest mead forum on the internet, GotMead delivers quality content to get and keep visitors, and you will get seen! Ads must be 468x60 pixels for the top banner or the forum banners, and 120 x 600 for the right-side tower ad, preferably in JPG or GIF format. Animated GIFs are also acceptable. Please keep the kb size small, so the site won't load slow. We will track your impressions, clicks, and view-to-click ratio, so you can see what you're getting for your money, and you can retire or suspend your ad at any time. Each time the ad is shown on the site, this is an 'impression') Top Banner and Tower Ad: (ratios 1:1, etc. are times ad is shown each rotation, i.e. if there are 10 ads, and yours is shown 1 time for each 10 shown, that is 1:1, 2 times for each 10 shown = 2:1, etc.)

So, if you only wish to spend $100.00 a month, we'll place a cap based on your purchase that will show your ad until it reaches that much cost, then it will automatically shut off until the next month. Basic Links - GotMead will list your business in the appropriate category in the links section, including your address, phone and web address for free. Add your link here. At the bottom of the page, look for 'Exchange Links'. All links will be checked for validity and reciprocal links and must be approved by the administrator before posting. 'Storefronts', consisting of your own shop in the Gotmead Mall. For a flat percentage per sale (tax and shipping excluded), we will place your products in our mall, set up shipping from your location, and when an order is placed for your products, you will receive an automatic email which you can then process through your own system. Gotmead will track sales, and bill you monthly for your fees. Best thing, it costs you nothing unless you sell something, a win-win solution!             |
