We will be making a melomel and possibly another mead as well. Oskaar will demonstrate and explain his unique meadmaking style while he is making a batch of melomel. If you have ingredients and are looking to make a batch of mead bring your fixins down and Oskaar will be happy to help you craft your batch to make a great mead.

Top! Top!
“Oh beautiful woman, will you come with me to the wonderful country that is mine? It is pleasant to be bolting at the people there: beautiful people without any blemish; their hair is of the colour of the flag flower, their fair body is as white as snow, the colour of the foxglove is on every cheek. The young never grow old there, the fields and the flowers are as pleasant to be looking at as the blackbirds eggs; warm and sweet streams of mead and wine flow through that country; there is no care and no sorrow upon any person; we see others, but we ourselves are not seen.”-Visions and Beliefs in the West of Ireland by Lady Augusta Gregory
