View Full Version : Fruit vs. yeast nutrient

Some recipes I see use nutrients (DAP etc.) and some seem to use raisins and fruit instead (JAO).

Why is this? Does the fruit provide nutrients? Or does the citic acid do something so you don't need to help the yeast? I am perplexed...
