Im using Olde Joes Orange Meade recipie. But Ive left out the orange and spices. (dont like orange flavored things.)
Im thinking of flavoring finished meade with cinnamon and vanilla. But I want just a whisper of flavore. Adding it after Meade is done,I think, is a way to control the amount of flavore. Would this work, or is it not a good idea.

What you're proposing is actually a cold mulled mead and there's nothing wrong with it. You can add the spices directly to your mead or prepare an infusion of spices seeped, like tea, in hot water.
