I.m not sure how to calculate this.
If I have an OG of 1.124 how do I figure the breaks.

I'm by no means an expert (see the list of my confused posts on this same subject), but the way I figure out sugar breaks is to take the number to the right of the decimal (124 in your case) and find 2/3 and 1/3 of it. So...
124 x 2/3 = 82.6 --- Your 1/3 sugar break (when 2/3 of the sugar remains) would be 1.083
124 x 1/3 = 41.3 --- Your 2/3 sugar break (when 1/3 of the sugar remains) would be 1.041

Hope this helps and I hope someone corrects me quickly if I've mucked this calculation up.
