I made a mead (5 gallons) with:

10 pounds honey
1 gallon cider
and a few spices...

my question is...

I used preserved apple cider...not knowing I shouldn`t til I came across the knowledge thereafter...

What is up with that batch...Is it ruined?

It has been fermeted for 6 weeks, and I took a sip...it tasted fine (needs age), but it didn`t taste any worse than the other meads I have made after the first month...

Thoughts? Am I going to die from drinking this 11 months from now? will it taste like vinegar? or is it just to be weaker now?
