there's a local winery not far from here that makes an incredible cranberry cordial and they do their tastings with chocolate truffles. AMAZING!

How about cherry?

I'd say that a sweet cherry melomel would be awesome with dark chocolate. Chocolate Cheery cordial anyone?

Semi-sweet with some nice oak and plenty of fine grain tannin.

Got to pair it with deep dark high cacao content bitter chocolate. Mmmmm, silky smooth, dark and brooding chocolate. Damn, I gotta get to the chocolatier and fork over!!

Occult Noir (become a patron and read the recipe if you don't know what I'm talking about! ;) ), with Scharffen Berger dark milk.

Nice juxtaposition of the "cassis" in the O.N. with the smooth, rich cocoa in the chocolate bar. ;D Without the milk added, the overall balance would be skewed too much toward bitter.
