I'm curious if people have tried mixing mead with other liquors/wines or juices once it's already been fermented and bottled. Anyone have any successful experiments with this?

Thanks

I use mead or wine (or both) to make Clericot. (http://www.gotmead.com/forum/showpost.php?p=123411&postcount=13)

Thanks, I didn't realize that Argentine beverage existed. Sounds fun. I'm going to experiment and mix the mead I have at home with some Vinho Verde - a fairly acidic white wine - and see what the result is.

That's on my list of things to try. I assume you pour the fruit in the glass along with the drink.

That's what I would do, anyway.

I've been known to mix big sweet fruit meads ( cherry or raspberry ) with coke ...

I was at a wedding this weekend and tried a little of my blackberry mead in some champagne. It was very good.

The Vinho Verde w/ Sweet Mead mix was actually pretty good. I had to dilute the mead quite a bit in the wine though because the taste/bouquet was so overpowering.

Champagne definitely seems like it would mix with mead very well. That will be my next experiment for sure.
