I thought I'd share this resource with my colleagues here.
Publix has a service now called "season's peak." What they do, apparently, is send you text or email when their fruits / vegetables are in season.
If you cannot get your fruit from a local distributor, this seems like a good resource. Also, if you're not familiar with fruits and their seasons, this seems like a good reminder to check with your local vendors.
