Has anyone tried bleach to sanitize fermenters?

How much should I dilute bleach?

About one tablespoon (1/2 fluid ounce, 15 ml) of typical chlorine bleach per gallon of water is the maximum that should be used for sanitizing food contact surfaces, according to federal regulation. Be sure to rinse until you get the bleach smell off and you'll be good to go!

Yes, you will want to rinse quiet well will boiled, or otherwise sanitized water, if you use bleach. It is certainly not a no rinse sanitzer like idophor.
