So my first batch of show mead turned out well and I am ready to make another now that i have an empty carboy. I was thinking about making a cyser or trying the orange and clove. The issue I am having in deciding is I am moving in 3 to 4 months. And from what I was reading, the cyser can take up to a year. So any suggestions for something I can have racked off by the time the end of march rolls around? If there is another recipe I missed I am open for advice. Thank you. I have learned so much from this site.

What do you mean by racked off? Racked into secondary? That rarely takes longer than a week to a month. Bottled... that takes a lot longer obviously.

Iwould think twice about starting a new mead if I was moving in a few months...unless it was a quick mead that would be made and quaffed before the move. :)

Yes, I meant bottled. And I was looking at Joe's ancient orange for the quick mead cause I haven't tried that one yet.
