You spoke and we listened! We are VERY excited to announce that we have worked out an agreement with the Boulder Outlook Hotel that will allow blind judging for both the Commercial and Home competitions!
The Mazer Cup International 2011 Home Mead Maker Competition is officially BOTTLE RESTRICTION FREE. The judging will be done blind and the judges will not be exposed to any identifiable information about the mead other than the category and the type of mead it is. We still need three 12 oz bottles, If the bottles are under 12 oz send four.
If you enter only two bottles there may not be enough mead left for category and the BoS judging rounds. If one of the bottles breaks during shipping there is no guarantee there will be enough mead for consideration in subsequent medal rounds. Three bottles ensures enough mead for medal and BoS if your mead progresses that far. If the bottles are under 10 oz send four. An entry that gushes excessively will be disqualified.
