Should it take that long to clear? This is the only mead I made so far.

Used Sams honey with natural yeast on raisins and bee pollen.

How big is it? Can you throw it in the fridge to cold crash it?

My acerglyn stayed cloudy for like 10 months then cleared over night...it really annoyed me...

It depends totally on your (entire) recipe and process. I've made identical meads where the only difference was the yeast, one was clear after 8 months, the other still isn't clear well after a year. Time is your friend with mead! Cold crashing may accelerate the process.

Rack it in Isinglass for about one mouth. This will clear it up.

Might be just the honey -- with all things honey, YMMV. ;D Some clear fairly easily, others linger and linger.

I've always had best results fining with sparkolloid. Seems to handle just about everything in mead.
