I had some leftover apple wine and leftover straight mead after placing the main batches into carboys to age. I mixed them 1/2 & 1/2 & bottled. Would you call this cyser or just mixed apple wine/mead? Not that it matters because I'll drink it anyway & expect it to be good, but just curious about the proper name.

I've seen some commercial meads, a blackberry comes to mind, where they mixed a blackberry wine and a traditional mead and called it a melomel. So I know it has been done, I think it's mostly a whatever you call it kind of thing.
