She was a major, if not THE major influence on me and my love of fiction starting from basically as soon as I was old enough to read. She will be deeply missed.
I pretty much cried when I heard. She is really what started my voracious reading habit. I've visited so many worlds and met so many great people with her words - both in the books and out. I'm going to miss her.

A fine talent! My sister and I always assumed she had parrots that she modeled her dragon characterizations on. My Macaws eyes do indeed whirl. Bridey is just a little hahn, but she thinks she is a dragon!
