Just tasted a batch made with vintners harvest blackberry puree. Came out amazing...

Then inspiration struck, thinking of doing a 5 gal batch, one big (96 oz can), 15lbs hopney & upon completion adding about 3 bottles of brandy & a bottle of chambord:).

anyone done this or have any input?

Adding brandy to wine is a traditional way to fortify. I can't see why that wouldn't work. Just be sure to use brandy that tastes good, since it will contribute a lot to your batch.
