Hey guys,
I'm getting married on Nov. 5th and want a nice bottle of mead to help celebrate. Now, I tried making a JOAM just to have something for us, I liked the idea of making my honeymoon mead, but unfortunately it is not ready yet. I am in Middle Tennessee now and was hoping people know where I can get a good bottle or two. Thanks!

Andrew

Congratulations!

A honey moon is called that because the newlyweds drank mead every day for a month(moon)!

It's the verb that may have lubricated (Ken is famous for calling mead the great panty remover, I think...) the path to another verb you may be thinking of...

Thanks guys!

I knew about the term 'honeymoon,' but I got into the game too late AND my timetable moved up on me, oh well. That's life right?

And at this stage, all the verbs are already accounted for... All of them.

Except your chosen date is an auspicious one on this side of the pond.

It's Guy Fawkes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes) night.

One of the biggest celebrations is held just up the road from me, at Lewes. The reason for that is
At the time of the Marian Persecutions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marian_Persecutions) of 15551557, Lewes was the site of the execution of seventeen Protestant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestant) martyrs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martyr), who were burned at the stake in front of the Star Inn. Plus there was a battle there about 750 years ago, but that's rather forgotten, whereas the Guy Fawkes celebrations aren't (burn the Pope! ;)).

Good luck with your day, I hope it goes well for you and "your intended".....

Actually, yes, we Chose bonfire night, that's why we are getting married on a Monday. So,

Remember, remember the 5th of November, when Katie and I eloped ; )

As I said, all the verbs.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes, and I'd like to give a special thanks to VanceG for his donation of a bottle of cyser to the cause. Hopefully I'll be hitched without a hitch.
