As title says, any other meaders from norway here?? We should be many, seeing that our forefathers drank this like we drink beer now.

Any questions about norway, just ask.

I know some americans are not to familiar with the little mountainside of europe called norway :p

Most of my knowledge of the area comes from this webcomic (http://satwcomic.com/):) And I learned in gradeschool that you have fjords.

I know we had at least one other member, Tiwas from Oslo, but it's been a while since he's been on.

And WildOates has visited Norway because her son lives there.

You're not alone, I promise! :) It just might take a while for folks to surface.

I do love that comic... and it has enlarged what little I know of that area of the world :)

My great grandfather immigrated from Sweden right around 1900, most of the immigrants from Finland, Sweden and Norway at that time settled in what we refer to here as the U.P. of Michigan, northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. My ancestors settled on the Marine City area from which it was very easy to continue with there careers in shipping, instead of ocean vessels they made the switch to great lakes freighters though.

Im a Johnson... Swede-tastic!, but yes the great lakes region is basically a satellite country for Scandinavians. St. Cloud, MN.
