Anyone know a place where one could be made?

I do alot of aging in 1 gallon jugs, so the mouth is smaller and i cant fit normal wine thiefs into it. I do already have a basic 12 inch wine thief but i would just like it about 4 inches longer and have a finger loop. As always thank you for the help ;)

I just pour it through a funnel into my hydrometer reading tube.

You could also buy a small turkey baster.

Why not just buy a suitably sized turkey baster....

I know where you can get one... where I got mine! The prices aren't crazy high either and I loved the customer service.

Just tell them what you need and they will make it. They have a bunch of premade wine thief sizes so if you're lucky you will get away "cheap" mine cost a total of .....hmmmmm.... accessing brain..... access faulty.... I want to say 50 or 60 bucks shipped.

Much more than the cheap amazon one, but NO comparison. Plus if you break it, they will fix it!

Here is the thread for mine....

PIWine.com has a little glass one (#WTL), $7.60, its also way cooler than a turkey baster, we got it just for gallon jugs, fits them easy, you might have to read the instructions on how to use it :):) WVMJ

No turkey basters in the stores here; finally found a few online here (well, the locations are in UK) after I found out that ebay.nl existed. Turkey almost impossible to find too.
