Guessing they didn't try to recover the honey as much as clean up the road...

Clean up would have been a lot faster if they had just invited a bunch of us to come scoop up free honey. :)

I got my spare gallon just on stand by just in case next time! What's a little dirt, rock and tar in the honey? That will all settle out eventually (=

A local bee keeper should have been enterprising and moved a couple of hives to close by....
