My neighbor has a largish bunch of hops that she said I am free to use as much as I want (AND her grapes too, over 100 lbs last year for us!). But I would like an ID of them before I even try to use them... here they are:

Best place to get a definitive ID on those might be hombrewtalk.com or gardenweb.com Both will have more people that grow their own hops than here I would think. In fact, I think they have a whole forum dedicated to hops at homebrewtalk.

Maybe THIS (http://www.usahops.org/userfiles/file/HGA%20BCI%20Reports/HGA%20Variety%20Manual%20-%20English%20(updated%20March%202011).pdf) will help?

By the way, if you have a dog, make sure you keep the hops where the dog can't get them; hops can be toxic to dogs.

I took a look at that and as close as I can figure it's close to these four, maybe:
Chelan
Galena
Tettnang
Willamette

I'm gonna keep looking though...

Thanks to both of you!
