Does across the West border count? I have been through your area, at least!

Thornton here. If you don't already have a good source the Colorado Honey Company guy in Loveland or so is great.

Centennial here. Would like to have a git together with other mead/cider makers over a mead or two!

If I lived in Denver, my poison would be herbal in nature instead of mead. :p

Wayneb is out there as well.

You lucky devils can all gather at the mazer cup!

I have sent Wayneb a couple PM's and never a reply. BTW Medsen I sent you a PM twice with no reply. Are you not getting them :)

I'm planning on going to the cup. I'd be ok with trying to trying to schedule a meeting there or before then - somewhere. I'm sure there will be other makers from CO there and wearing a sandwich board advertising for a CO gathering might prove fruitful!

One thing I've noticed is that there are dozens of brew clubs around Colorado and maybe only a handful of people doing mead in a few of them (if you base that on what is searchable on what little club websites there are). It makes it tough to find others to share experiences with. You can only get so much from books and the infallible interwebs. I've been fermenting cider for a few years and that experience has helped but the whole SNA thing is new to me and initially challenging (watching my SO create a better bottle volcano with our first mead was priceless).

Got my ticket to the cup.

I'm still interested in getting some (near) Colorado mead makers together before the cup if there is interest. PM me and I'll make a list of who and what evening works best and see how that goes.

I might be rolling in on Tuesday evening. I have to hit up Raccine's diner for some crabs eggs benedict... that may be a sobering Sunday brunch. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up before the big dance.

I'm in the Springs, just racked my first mead to primary. I'm as new as they get! :)

I'll have to look into that for sure. I've been to Broomfield several times. A couple times for training and my wife loves flatiron crossing mall!

Nope, not in Broomfield, just fielding the question. If you go to www.soj51.net that'll give you a rough idea where I'm at.
