So I have been, up to today, buying honey in one gallon buckets or one gallon jugs with big openings and several pounds in giant shrink wrap type bags. I just bought a 5 gallon pail and was hoping you good people could give me ideas how to handle it without making a huge mess.

Just the smaller containers are somewhat messy already. WhaT TIPS CAN YOU PROVIDE?

Thanks

Ryan

I keep a small pail in one hand and a large measure cup for a scoop in the other, holding the pail under the scoop all the time to catch the drips. Then use a spatula to recover the overflow.

Get a bucket with a honey gate on it and then some 1 and 2 gallon food grade buckets with sealable lids and you are good to go. Brushymountain bees, dadant, any bee business would be able to sell you onw. WVMJ
