Has anyone ever done this before?
This is my mini-JAOM scaled down exactly, right down to 6.25 raisins. We'll see what happens. I think 1/4 tsp yeast might have been too much, that part might not be scalable to proportions.

And here it is sitting on the brew shelf...

I see no reason why it won't work. But the amount of drinkable mead you get out of it wont be worth the time.

Ah come on, are you kidding? If I can pour a glass of wine from it in 3 or 4 months, its worth it to me!

I use ones that size to run small scale test batches on things. I have one that holds ~350ml but looks EXACTLY like a micro sized fermentor. I'll see about a pic... Here we go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8NHT5MfFPduM1lybGU1eFBKSDA/view?usp=sharing

Aren't you worried about head-space?

I'm 6' even, so no, there's plenty between me and the ceiling.

Oh, wait, you mean the mini-mead? Nah, its sitting on my desk and looks great!

And how is your head space? You sure you're in the right head space for this experiment? My head space usually has a for rent sign hanging in it so.... Just wonderin??
