Hello you wonderful people!
I've lurked on this forum for four months, and yesterday I opened up my first gallon of mead. A simple mead, honey, water, raisins, yeast, with the meticulous method.

My husband said, "That's the STUFF!" when he tasted it. Mead. I nailed it. Thanks to you!

I have 3 one gallon carboys fermenting away under my desk right now. Life is sweet.

Great news. Glad you enjoyed your mead. The meticulous method is certainly more work but much faster results compared to the "pitch and leave" approach.

Good luck making more mead and let us know if you need input or advice
