Here's the refrain from a silly song I heard on "Celtic Pagan Radio" on Live365.com the other day:

"Do the Pagan Polka,
It's gonna win you over.
Dance from dusk 'til dawn,
Until the mead is gone!"

And the tagline on this refrain, at the very end of the song goes"

"...and the mead is going strong!"

Is that anything like the Masochism Tango?

Masochism Tango? Oskaar, I think you're dating yourself. ;D

Looks like pretty good stuff -- check these URL's out:

Here's the lyrics:

I live way out in Kansas where the prairie is so pretty
I found myself at Gaea which is down near Kansas City
Some folks were singing round a fire, and man, it made me mad
‘Cause every time they sang a song, it sounded awful sad.

So I found this little problem in my personality.
I lay too much emotion on what’s mere modality.
But, I’ve got a question. Someone please explain to me -
Why must pagan music always be in a minor key?

So I sing….

Let’s do the PAGAN POLKA
It’s gonna win you over!
Dance from dusk ‘til dawn
Or ‘til the mead’s all gone.

First you take your clothes off, get as naked as you dare.
Prance around the fire, throw your arms up in the air!
Do the PAGAN POLKA ‘til you see the rising sun.
Happy pagans (PAGAN POLKA-happy) having fun!

(chorus)

This crazy polka beat will give you happy feet
Dance ‘til the break of day - dance all your cares away!

Now, we do the PAGAN POLKA down upon the farm
The cows and chickens watch us as we dance and wave our arms.
The neighbors think we’re crazy, and our children think they’re right!
But we still do the PAGAN POLKA every single night!

This crazy polka beat will give you happy feet
Dance ‘til the break of dawn - dance ‘til you can’t go on!

Now, we do the PAGAN POLKA down upon the farm.
The cows and chickens watch us as we dance an wave our arms.
The neighbors think we’re crazy and, by George, they may be right,
But we still do the PAGAN POLKA every single night!

(chorus)

And the mead’s still going strong!

Found this one while I was poking around on the 'net for the Pagan Polka, hilarious!

DANCING IN A PAGAN WONDERLAND

Pagans sing, are you listenin',

Altar's set, candles glisten,

It's a Magickal night, we're having tonight,

Dancing in a Pagan Wonderland

Blades held high, censer smoking,

God and Goddess, we're invoking,

Through Elements Five, we celebrate life,

Dancing in a Pagan Wonderland,

Queen of Heaven, is in Her place,

Triple Goddess, now the Crone Face,

Above and Below, She's the Goddess we know,

Dancing in a Pagan Wonderland

Now the God, is the Provider,

Supplying game for our Fire,

Above and Below, He's the Horned One we Know,

Dancing in a Pagan Wonderland

In a Circle we can light a Yule Fire,

And await the rising of the Sun,

It's the Great Wheel turning for the new year,

loaded with abundance and great fun.

Later on, by the fire,

Cone of Power, gettin' higher

It's a Magickal Night we're having tonight,

Dancing in a Pagan Wonderland

Faeries & Mead must go hand in hand... I myself being aquainted with Faeries for quite some time and only recently aquainted with the qualities of mead. On one of the E-groups I belong to I found an Oregon winery that makes wines and a mead and uses Brian Froud's art on his labels. Chateau Lorane has two wines and a mead...
check out the Organic Apricot Mead

and the other wines...
