Is anyone using stainless primaries, or even secondaries? Possibly the Italian floating lid type, or other. What are your thoughts, reccommendations, warnings, or otherwise.

I use a stainless keg for carbonization that I have used as a secondary also. It will suck any dormant or dead yeast off the bottom before getting to the clear stuff. But I wouldn't recommend using it til you have racked a couple times to limit sediment. Since I use CO2 it doesn't have to be full to the top to prevent oxidation while it ages. That is an obvious advantage in bulk aging in it when the amount comes short of filling a normal size container but having said all that I prefer glass so I can see whats going on. The other major disadvantage with the stanless keg is it is more difficult to clean.
