Beertracker,
Congratulations on your medals. Semi-sweet traditional is always a VERY TOUGH category. I saw some scores of 40 from the first round that did not win a medal. I also hear that your "Cornucopias" mead, in the open category, was AWSOME. (Wish I had been able to try it!)

Wow, good job, guys! Bummer that the recipes aren't listed on that site, though. So... how about 'em, hmmm? ;)

Winning mead recipes - what a novel idea. Actually, I have been tasked with re-doing the Meadllennium site - to be more than just a list of winners, most of the year, and entry rules and info for a couple of months. One of the things I included was a page for winning recipes. First, I have to get the new pages approved and all of the new stuff inserted, then I will begin contacting past and present winners to see if they would be willing to have their recipes included on our site.

So, yes, it will happen. Just be patient, and I will announce it here when it is up and running.

Howard,

When you ask them, ask if it would be ok to include them in the Gotmead list too. I can either put them in their respective categories with a *winner* type appellation, or as a separate 'prize winning meads' category.

If that is ok for both them *and you*, I would be grateful to have them. I know folks would be interested. Oh, and shoot me a banner for the next competition when you get organized, and I'll post it for you on the site here. Gotta support the competitions!
