So I forgot about a mead I made a few years ago and just found it in my in-laws' closet. I never took it out of the primary so it has been sitting on the lees for about two and a half years now. The water in the airlock evaporated long ago. Surprisingly enough it tastes pretty good. I am more worried that something may have infected it that didn't change the taste but maybe made it bad for me to drink.

Is there any potential danger in drinking this mead? If not then I plan to move it to a secondary to stabilize it and then bottle it a couple weeks later.
