Congrats Joe! ;D

My most recent purchase was 4, 6 gallon carboys $16 each!

Yesterday I bought two stoppers and 5 airlocks. Soon I will get six 5 l jugs. Recently I bought a 30 l (almost 8 gal) vessel.

#8 stoppers for 1 gallon jugs, various oak beans and airlocks. Waiting for the credit card cycle to close for a 60# bucket of wildflower honey.

So is it a bad thing when you have to build a table for all the carboys and gallon jugs to sit one because the card table was about to fold?

JoeM,
Good luck with your new Brewery, uh house!!

5- 5 gallon carboys for $12 each, two packages of yeast, and stoppers for the new carboys.

Hmmm...what to brew first.....

Slightly off the Mead line, but....

2 5 gallon Igloo Water Coolers
2 Cooler Bulkhead Kits
2 Brass Ball Valves
Stainless Steel domed False Bottom
Thermometer
Silicone tubing

Made my first all grain batch of beer this weekend, Irish Red. HERMS, here I come.

Oh, and 7 lbs Clover Honey, 2 lbs frozen Cherries, 2 lbs frozen Blackberries, 2 packs D47. 2 Mels on their way this coming weekend.

Wow Angus, taking the plunge. I am working on a system too. Right now I only have a converted keg. But I think I am going to do my first mini mash on sunday. All I can drum up is a 3 tier gravity system. Let me know how much pumps set you back. It sounds like your gonna DIY it. Go for it.

Kace,

Pump goes for $125 at MoreBeer. Temp controllers are roughly $75 each. It is not going to be cheap, so I am saving the pennies carefully. It should take about a year to assemble the basics, after which I will be able to start putting it together. I may get some schematics for the controller circuit and construct it myself to save some $. We will see. Also going to purchase a 9 gallon SS kettle with ball valve. Will also come in handy to mix my Must and just tap it into a Carboy when making the Mead.

I haven't even thought about building anything like that. I want to get the all grain basics down first. I would have my system done but the plasma cutter at work is broke. :( Who knows when it will be fixed. I have everything I need except a CFC, and I'm afraid I may need a pump to use it.
So I am to cheap to pay some one to cut it for me, I will just wait. Then I can cut it exactly like I want.

Just bought the stuff to make (and have made) a wort chiller. No more lifting 7 gallon s/s pots full of boiling wort for me!

I just purchased four Oskaar-Wear (what else??) tee-shirts and a coffee mug from Gotmead Gear.

Also had some custom tee shirts made locally here in Fullerton, CA for my own entertainment.

Cheers,

Oskaar

My most recent purchase was a glass test jar for my hydrometer. I've had mixed luck with the plastic test jars.

I was going to pick up an oak brandy barrel from Pirtle winery, but couldn't connect with Scott Pirtle to make it happen. BTW, the winery is a really cool place to visit and their meads and wines are very nice.

5 ball lock kegs $15 each. 4 carboys. Getting ready to order a few more 60# buckets of honey. I am out of OB, and nearly out of buckwheat.

Foundation for the new house. $$$$$$$$$ :'( :'(

Benelli Nova 3 1/2" 12-gauge with a 28" barrel and Seclusion 3-D paintjob, AKA The Turkey Thumper.

Also, a new SABCO brew kettle and hurricane burner for brewing.

Peace.
