I'm betting that most everyone got spammed in their message box, but just incase I'm one of the "lucky" few, thought I'd mention it.

If any mod or admin cares to look in my message bin, you'll see who the spammer is.

Yeah, Vik sent a message out about it. I read it in Hotmail, whatever... Then I checked my pm box... My poor eyes, they can't take that kind of crap.

I saw it. Nasty. I banned the user and the IP addy. I spent some time on the forums for simplemachines, and some of them have gotten it too. So far no way exists to block someone manually signing up and sending spam like this one did.

All I can really do is nail them when they spam (which thank god doesn't seem to happen often).

Would one of you that saved it to let me know please copy and paste it along with the headers and the email address donald92135@yahoo.com and send it to abuse at yahoo.com?

Whoever this is had to respond to a verification email to get registered. That means a real person, not a bot, so far as I know. So, I want to get this guy dumped.

Vicky - Annoyed that some asshole created work for me on Sunday, lets *get* him.

I take it the donald92135@yahoo.com is the spammer?

I have the original that was a forum generated "you have a new personal message" But I don't see that in the headers that landed in my gmail box.

If you'd like the headers I can send it to ya, but it's just shows the traffic from the forum to me.
