I certainly think he is a man of his word. I've looked at his and other candidates voting records, and I think his (and a few others' )is very solid. There are some things that I don't agree with in his platform, and I'm sure that the checks and balances will not enable him to do everything he wants to get done, but I think that is a good thing in the end. Heck, that is the foundation of our political system.
I look at most of the candidates for the two major parties, and I don't see the dichotomy that I once did. Sure, they argue over different things, but in the end, whoever is elected will end up doing the same thing: Increasing the government's influence in our lives, in one way or another. "That's what governments are for, to get in a man's way."
