I wanted to take the opportunity to give them a thumbs-up.
I've had 3 transactions with them so far.
1st Transaction: They sent me a free stainless steel stock pot. If it was some kind of promotion, it wasn't listed on the invoice. I think they were just being nice, or it's something they do for all 1st time customers, I don't know.
2nd Transaction: Nothing particularly notable, just swift and accurate delivery, routine.
3rd Transaction: Ordered everything but forgot the yeast. I sent an email to service asking if I had to make a separate order with separate shipping or if they could just toss it in the box. The email back the next day, they just tossed it in the box for me, no charge, free yeast because I screwed up and forgot to order it initially.
These people do good business. Not just in the home-brew world, but of all the different services I've had from plumbing, auto repair, etc... the people at Midwest are among my All-Time favorites for customer service.
