Thread: Ads not working?

    Default Ads not working?

I recently noticed advertisements show up on the forum page.
When I clicked on some of the ads, they took me to a 404 Forbidden Page.

Just thought I would throw it out there that these "new additions" to the site do not seem to be working.

    pretty much all of them...

    I get this

    403 Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /openx/www/delivery/ck.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Off the top of my head it has happened with the Bee Folks, Riedel Glassware, Fantasy Art, etc etc.

Maybe it is a problem with my computer...?

And while we're at it, I could do without that absinthe ad. Both because of the inexplicable nudity and because I'm never going to drink that.

Well Braxton, while you may not like the nudity and won't drink absinthe, that doesn't mean that others won't try the product, and enjoy the ad art. The ads aren't custom designed for you, they're targeted at a wide group, and there are numerous discussions on this forum about absinthe. There are also a number of threads with custom made labels by our mead making community that feature partially or complete nudity on the label (mine included). My suggestion is that if it bothers you, then make a note of the thread and move on.

    Cheers,

    Oskaar

It seems as though all ads with external links are not working.

Hmm. I clicked that absinthe one just now, and it took me to

    http://www.gotmead.com/forum/www.kqz...90592-10449734

Which appears to be the gotmead.com main site lacking some of its css.

We'll take a look. Vicky is out of town, and I have family in from all over the place so we will do what we can as we are able.

Thanks for the heads up and have a great New Year!
