I'm reading a Sherlock Holmes book, titled "Gone in the Fog". It's okay, but it mainly focuses on 200 pages of Watson fretting over where Holmes has "gone in the fog". Can't say I'm very impressed.

Now, the Mary Russell series is good, and Laurie King's next book in the series (#13? #14?) is due out sometime in April 2016. Eagerly anticipating that one. Also, avidly following Alan Bradley's "Flavia de Luce" series, just no new book anytime soon that I know of.

I read a lot of military fiction, because that's what I write. "Dispatches" (Michael Herr) is worth reading if that's your thing -- one of the best Vietnam books I've read.
I've got a short story coming out (Pleiades) in June 2016. It's the first story I sent out. Just sent out another one (waiting on rejection letters...). Hopefully it'll be the start of my publishing career. I'm currently working on a story where the protagonist makes mead in Iraq. That one still needs a lot of work though.
