Hi there! New to mead making, and recently entered some into a competition. Part of the feed back I got back mentioned "legs". Not really sure what that is, can someone explain it to me, please?
Signs of high alcohol or residual sugar. When you swirl the mead in a wine glass you get tears/legs coming down the sides of the glass. As to whether they indicate quality or anything else are debatable.
Bees stole my signature file!
Thanks! Much appreaciated!
