So og is high at 1.142 12 liters but I have another one started the same time at 1.160+ hydrometer doesn't go higher although it had fruit in it and took 24 hour to start. Rehydrated 7 grams 71b in goferm. Pitch temp was a little high a 24C but should be OK. So should I waight it out or re pitch? What's the longest any of you have waited to see activity?

Did you attemperate your yeast slurry to the same temp as your must before you pitched?

I usually see a lag that last 4-8 hours
