So I threw a one gallon jug of mead into the fridge two days ago. It started clearing out very nicely, but as i look at it I see little white flakes suspended in it. Mead tastes fine, in fact Im tempted to say it is best batch I’ve made so far. What are those? Will they clear?

Mine did the same. Saw it first time in beers - I guess it's the yeast. If I'm correct the float slightly to the top? Mine dropped quicker when I slightly agitated the bottles to get them "moving around" a bit.

Negative. I did not dissolve pottasium sorbate in warm water. I just put it straight into my mead as per instructions on the container.
