Mead Day in Kansas was a blast! Thank you to everyone that helped make it happen.

Peach mel. Adding Buckwheat and the last of the clover honey. Me on the left.

The OC
Yup, the upload folder is full. I'll see about bumping up the size of the upload directory.

Great photos, looks like a fun crowd, and, with a BBQ on the deck life is good! Toss on some big fat dead cow, swill some mead, and live like a king! LOL

cheers,

Oskaar

Where is the brewlog, John? I am curious how that peach mel is coming along. Did it foam as much as you expected? BTW, I love the picture of Raspberry Mead being poured into the glass. The swirling shape and the color of the mead in glass is absolutely gorgeous!

I have ben slacking on posting brewlogs lately. I will try to get them up there soon. The peach mel is coming along nicely. I did encounter a small problem with getting it to stablize, but I think that it will still turn out quite tasty. That D47 sure is a fast fermenter. It did not foam quite as badly as I had anticipated. I think that the cap prevented this, as it was quite heavy. I had to punch it down 2-3 times per day.

Greenblood have you done this successfully? Sounds like I need to try to do this stuff.
