Thread: Zambian Honey

  1. Default Zambian Honey

I am using 7lbs of this in my latest 6gallon 21lb mixed honey brew. It is a dark and smoky-flavoured honey, almost caramel in texture and taste. Full aroma and is just plain yummy

Here is the website and it offers a fascinating insight into reviving traditional beekeeping on a more commerical basis. Incidentally, I have now got myself involved with local beekeeping in London.

Those sound like some very cool honey varieties to try in meads. I just wrote them an email asking if they plan on having a location in the US - otherwise the shipping cost would surely be prohibitive to me.

Unless anyone wants to split a container with me?

(that's trans-Atlantic "container", not a tub of honey)

    Cheers,
    Jay

Shipping container? Why not go hog wild and just hire a super tanker?

I'll toss in a buck or two on that venture!
