Thread: white snowflakes in airlock?

  1. Default white snowflakes in airlock?

    i had written so much in other topic i decided to just start a new post for this question. i have what looks like little white snowflakes in my airlock. they seem to form at the water level. now i know i should just change my water in the airlock but does that mean anything in regards to my mead?

    It is a good idea to change water in airlock every once in a while. Helps to put a bit of sulfite in to keep bacteria down. Some use Vodka in their airlock.
