Howdy all,

There is a link in your profile settings in the MODIFY PROFILE section called PERSONAL MESSAGE OPTIONS that will allow you to toggle the pop-up notification for personal messages. If you click the PERSONAL MESSAGE OPTIONS, and then in the EDIT PROFILE section you will see a checkbox next to an option that reads: SHOW A POPUP WHEN YOU RECEIVE A NEW MESSAGE?

Check the box, and click the CHANGE PROFILE button and viola! You'll get a pop up message whenever you receive a personal message. Now that the chat function is up and running, it is a good way to let your buddies know that you're in the chat room and to see if they want to waste some keystrokes yapping at you!
