Default What kind of mead says, "I hate you"?

It was Meadrol's idea!

My first suggestion would be something like really hot peppers... but subtle, so you don't realize the damage till you've swallowed too much of it for the next day to be pleasant

Dammit, you stole mine. howabout something that smells good, but ends up tasting bad. Like way too much spruce.

Spruce!! LOL!!!

Or you could chuck in something that really has no place being in a mead, and only tell people about it on the disclaimer... but who would do that?

Haven't I seen threads here with people actually doing grapefruit and coffee meads?

Is it sad that I've already gotten to know the personalities around here enough that I didn't even have to click those links to know what they were?

I'm thinking a sweet, sack-strength, prune melomel with a lot of fusels would have someone getting the message the next morning.

This brings to mind a question, will fining agents remove soluble fiber?

You don't want your hate-mead to be clear, do you? I think cloudy and served in a dark glass is much more appropriate.

If the fiber is charged, it might get pulled out by a fining agent (depends on the relative charges of course). Do we know if it's charged when in solution?

Well, you might want to camouflage your hate-mead.

The question was really in general though.
