Default Should I rack again?

I have a batch of passionfruit mel that cleared. I racked it to another carboy for aging over two weeks ago. There is now a very thin film at the bottom of the carboy, and I am wondering if this should be racked off again. Will the small amount of leas hurt the aging process? The yeast used was K1-v1116.

Will.

No, I'd suggest waiting at least another month... a fine layer of lees will not hurt your mel at this point.

No need to rack again, it will be fine on a small dusting of lees. Sometimes its difficult to get a mead completely and totally free of some small amount of lees.
