America is looking down a dark road. My views about government are genreally ridiculed but most people would agree to keep your name private concerning any thing health and food related.
There was another man (memory on hiatus) studying bees he was exposing R.R. to, and same thing, illegal seizure and burning of his bees. Those are only a couple cases concerning bees, in the broader spectrum of corporate invasion, the list is endless.
I think it was mostly because the government is protecting the evilness of Monsanto and if it's the last thing any of us every do it should be to destroy that corporation. I believe our future and the future of those who come after us depends on it.
See I don't like Monsanto either. A lot of their business seems to be somewhat dubious in justification, but the article is questionable too.
Roundup is a herbicide, whereas the article suggests or at least tries to plant the thought that the government murdered some super-bees, like they're trying to wind up some less knowledgeable green types etc.
Not forgetting, that any kind of foulbrood is "notifiable". So if there's any question, then it should be whether the inspectors acted correctly and properly.
I'd hope that if the breeder can prove malpractice by the inspector then he'd be able to at least sue.......
After all, the whole point of inspection is to make sure that the bees are kept correctly and aren't likely to be a problem to others, but the inspectors must be above reproach.......
Hopefully any further information will also be published......
Fat Bloke, the thing is, if you look the the history on Monsanto and how the US government protects them you would and SHOULD question anything that involves government tyranny, roundup, or Monsanto... Our government and courts have gone out of their way to make sure that for some reason Monsanto is protected. I'd rather be pissed about this and err on the side of them doing wrong than allow them to do more harm. Even if I am wrong the things they have already done are bad enough. We should question everything and in fact, do all we can to destroy this monstrosity.
I already have roundupready resistant bees if anyone wants to buy some I would be happy to sell some. I trained them to gather dandelion seeds to plant after someone sprays roundup to replant the area, I am working on getting the drones to carry the bigger seeds, they might as well carry the seeds out from the hive on their way to gather honey, sort of get 2 things done at once right? This trait has become genetically inherited from bee to bee epignetically, roundup triggers the response, you could even put a little tray in the hive with clover seeds, they are small enough for them to easily carry in flight. Place your orders soon before the company lawyers find us and make us stop planting after round is sprayed so the farmers dont think they have roundup resistant dandelions.
This is it in a nutshell. We don't need roundup. How about we just stop subsidies and make the agribusinesses grow what they can and let the market work it out. Global warming is a joke compared to this.
Yes, it is Alchemist. It's called Agency Capture and it's the very reason agencies either should not exist or have very very very limited powers. Congress gives them too much leniency and is not specific enough about what they can and can't do.
