Photos for Fun OK shutterbugs, here's the place to post your pictures. If your photos are larger than 800x600 pixels or 192 Kb please post a link rather than the photo as the file size can chew resource and physical size can cause autoscrolling and throw off the look and feel of the boards.

Default First mead: the bottling

Just bottled my first batch of Raw Goldenrod Honey mead that I started last November. It never cleared perfectly, but it tastes amazing. No starting gravity reading beacuse I was dumb and didn't get a hydrometer then, but it finished at about 1.03

(The name Trolleri is the Swedish word for magic)

Edit: If anyone is curious, the label is my own work.

looking good. I've found some things just take longer to clear, I have Meadowfoam traditional I started a year ago I thought would never clear but in the last couple of weeks its suddenly dropped some sediment and cleared nicely....might have been the oak I added a couple of months ago....or it just decided it was ready

Nice label! I've done very few batches large enough to justify more than a piece of painters tape. Soon I will hit on a perfect recipe and scale to 5 gallons. And then I will need to come up with a name. *sigh*

I like the "made with love" part best.
