New bubbling with Fruit in Secondary
I racked a sweet mead (1.12, fermented down to 1.020) onto a gallon each of frozen blueberries, blackberries and one of rainier cherries. I sanitized everything that came in touch with the mead. Now I have new bubbling, especially in the blueberries and cherries.
Is it the extra sugar from the fruit? Infection? New wild strain? The meads are in a root cellar, 62 deg F. The blueberries have been on mead for 6 weeks.
