Default JAO not clearing?

3 lbs. wild honey
1 gal water
1 orange
25-ish raisins

Preface: This isn't entirely a JAO, but it's pretty similar. I had brewed it before I discovered this site using a recipe I found here. As far as I can tell, though, it's the same as JAO only it says to rack the mead off the fruit once primary fermentation has stopped, which I did. So I guess I voided the JAO guarantee, but only slightly?

Anyway, the reason I'm a little concerned about it is that I brewed it on 7/20/09. Since then I've brewed a cyser and a metheglin (8/4/09) which are both crystal clear, but the JAO copy is still cloudy, despite the fact that the website (and JAO threads) say it should be clear around 2-3 months. Am I just being impatient here, or could I have screwed this up by racking off the fruit after primary fermentation had finished (8/9/09)?

Anytime you change the recipe, you void Joe's warranty.

Did you use a different yeast?

The simplest thing to try to speed clearing is to put the batch in a fridge for a few weeks. That will often cause particulate matter to drop out of suspension faster.
