A situation although it may be nothing.

I brewed a basic medium-dry described in Mr. Schramm's book and everything went fine. Racked it over several times and it cleared fine. Racked it about a month and a half ago and added some campden tablets to get ready to bottle sometime in May or so to let it bottle age. As it has warmed up here in the past few weeks I have noticed that it has begun to act like it is fermenting again with some more trub being dropped and a bubble through the airlock every 2.5 minutes or so for about a week or so and some bubbles on top. Any ideas? Should I be worried?

thanks again!

Precipitating solids will be normal - airlock activity might well be a sign of fermentation.

You either have active fermentation creeping along, or it may also be degassing. Take some very careful SG readings (maybe a week apart) and that should show a drop in gravity if it is fermenting.

Have you done anything besides racking to get the yeast out of the mead? Even a few guys can restart things going again eventually.
